Lindsey and Mike, Poughkeepsie Grandview Wedding

Lindsey and Mike were married on one of those 99-degree days we had in July.  But looking at the photos, you would never know because everyone just looks so excited to be there.  And if you were there, all you remember was how Lindsey just glowed.

Lindsey and Mike chose two really special locations for their wedding day: Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel (which the priest said is the oldest Catholic chapel in New York State!) and the Poughkeepsie Grandview.  The venues really set the tone for the wedding and made the perfect backdrop for their “destination” wedding: classic, steeped in history and tradition, and beautiful.   Mike and Lindsey really know how to showcase the Hudson Valley and all its diverse  settings – bridges, cities, wooded, riverfront, all within a short ride of each other.  It made for a really fun day.

Lindsey and Mike knew they were going to be so blissed out on their wedding day that it would seem like it was flying by.  And with all the people they had there to celebrate with them, they wanted to make sure that they had lots of amazing photos of all their guests.  So I suggested they might like to include a dedicated second shooter in their wedding package – my colleague and friend, Judi Esmond!  This way, I could really devote myself to Lindsey, Mike, their families and bridal party while Judi focused on getting all the peripheral activity and a second angle on key events.  It turned out great.  We have so many amazing shots from the day, and these are some of my favorites of Judi’s.

Congratulations again to Mike and Lindsey!
