Remember Gabby and Jesse’s super-fun site viewing-engagement shoot? That’s when I got to see for the first time the Hill in Hudson, the venue for their wedding. We talked then about how the room would be set up and what they were planning for decorations. Well, their wedding day has now come and gone. And it did not disappoint!
You would never know that it poured all morning, forcing Gabby and Jesse to utilize their inclement weather plan of holding the ceremony in the barn rather than in the field. But that ended up being so lovely. And right afterwards, the sky brightened up, and the guests were able to enjoy cocktails outside. We took a little stroll with 20 or so of Gabby and Jesse’s best friends and family members (a casual bridal party, of sorts), and made some fun photos with the sunset. Then everyone went inside for a wild party: delicious food by Bridge Creek, multiple tear-jerking speeches by family and friends, the coolest font I’ve ever seen for table cards, the Hill’s famous wise-word typewriter, and grooving music. I knew from our engagement shoot that Gabby had spent months antiquing for vintage glass vases, which she mix-and-matched on long tables, and it was quite a sight when filled with Gillooly & Co‘s gorgeous flower arrangements!
As Gabby said in her speech, they’re married!! Which is so very exciting!!
