Gina is definitely a go-getter! She called me for the first time a couple of weeks ago having seen her coworker’s wedding photos (the lovely Katie!), and we got together a few days later for a cup of coffee. The next week, we were talking contracts for her wedding photography and scheduling her e-shoot. I can tell that things just fall into place for Gina like that. She and her fiance, Bryan, have a love story like that, too. They were high school sweethearts, went to college together, and even got jobs at the same company after graduation (though not in the same department). We decided to start the e-shoot at Grand Central Station, where Gina and Bryan kiss goodbye everyday before work. Then we grabbed a cab up to Central Park. (I love Central Park because even if you go to the same place over and over again – like Bethesda Fountain – you never have to make the same picture twice.) After spending a few hours traipsing around Manhattan with them for their e-shoot, watching them laugh together, sneaking each other knowing looks, and being obviously wonderful, old friends, I could totally see how each of them would hold onto the other and never let go.
I can’t wait to make photos for them at their wedding!
