I know that brides dream about bright, sunny wedding days with long ray of sunlight dancing around their carefully chosen landscapes. But I must confess a secret. Despite the re-newed trend towards lens flare, most photographers really prefer bright, overcast days where the clouds act like a giant diffuser on the world below. I mean, just look at how it makes the colors pop at the Links in Union Vale, and how it highlighted the decor in Leah and Phil’s 1930s-style wedding party! (With the light and the wind and the design of it all, we were transported – perhaps we were at the beach… or 1930s Africa…)
